SR-315 Updates, Events to Impact Travel Through Aug. 20
State Route 315 Exit Ramp to Reopen August 15 The northbound SR-315 exit ramp to Medical Center Drive and King Avenue will open August 15. New Cannon Drive, between King Avenue and the exit ramp, also will open August 15. Work on Cannon Drive near the Wexner Medical Center will continue through 2019. Traffic will continue to access North Cannon Garage via 10th Avenue to old Cannon Drive. Additional information will be shared in advance to inform motorists when access to the North Cannon Garage resumes via 12th Avenue. View an overall picture of the next phases of construction.
Events to Impact Traffic, Parking, Bus Impacts Through Week of August 20 Multiple events occurring through the week of August 20 will result in roadway restrictions and closures, heavy traffic, travel and bus service delays and increased demand for parking across campus. Motorists should plan ahead, allow additional time and follow the directions of traffic officials. Upcoming events include: - Early Arrival Move-In (Aug. 15) - Multiple roadways, including College Rd., Woodruff Ave., Woody Hayes Dr., Fred Taylor Dr., 11th Ave., 12th Ave., Herrick Dr., Neil Ave., Lane Ave. and High St., will be impacted.
- Jay-Z and Beyonce Concert at Ohio Stadium (Aug. 16) - Several parking areas, including those near Ohio Stadium, will be reserved for event at 2 p.m. Traffic delays and minimal parking availability are anticipated around 4 p.m.
- Student Move-In (Aug. 18)
- Please Note: The Med Center Express and the Overnight On-Demand service will not operate from 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18 through 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 19. The Overnight On-Demand service will be available starting at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. The Med Center Express will resume normal operations at 5 a.m. on Sunday. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.
