Subject: 9th Ave. Parking Garage Expansion Project: Alley work and 9th Avenue construction schedule
Dear Property Owners and Neighbors;
Starting Monday, Sept. 21st , the 9th Avenue Parking Garage Project will be increasing construction activity in the alleys east and south of the new garage and in 9th Avenue.
The alley east of the new garage will be used by several concrete trucks accessing from 9th Ave. to pour the concrete pavement in the alley south of the garage. The east alley will also be closed at 8th Avenue to start the demolition and preparation for reconstructing the entire alley between 8th and 9th Avenues. The completion date for the alley construction is Wednesday, Sept. 30th.
On Tuesday, Sept. 28th, the asphalt pavement in 9th Avenue, between Neil Ave. and Medical Center Drive, will be milled off. There will be some areas of full-depth repair of the sub-grade during the week. The street will be repaved on Friday, Oct. 2nd. Traffic will be maintained.
