City of Columbus Moves Ahead with Removal of Fifth Avenue Dam Near Medical Center Campus

It's impossible not to have noticed all the construction going on around campus lately. In fact, a series of projects have begun that will deliver the first true vision of the One Ohio State Framework on campus, at least one project's timeline has surprisingly been moved up. On the advice of and with funding from the Ohio EPA, the city of Columbus this summer will remove the lowhead dam at Fifth Avenue to restore the Olentangy River between Fifth and Lane avenues to its original health and beauty.
