2012 Special Bulk Trash Pick Up

Subject: 2012 Special Bulk Trash Pick Up

Student Move-out/Move-in will be starting at the end of this month.  City of Columbus Refuse, SWACO, the University District Organization, and Campus Partners have teamed up to provide convenient disposal of bulk trash. 

 

The City of Columbus will provide 16 free bulk trash drop-off locations throughout the University District from July 31 through August 14. Items to be collected include couches, mattresses, appliances, carpets, desks, and dressers.  Drop-off locations will typically be in the rear parking area of a property, sectioned off with traffic cones, and indicated with a sign.  Some locations will have a large container also indicated with a sign.  The 16 bulk drop-off locations are:

 

•    Rear of 1475 Neil Avenue

•    Rear of 51 West 9th Avenue

•    Rear of 175 West 9th Avenue

•    Rear of 107-109 East 11th Avenue

•    Rear of 104 East 12th Avenue

•    Rear of 1975-1981 Summit Street

•    East Woodruff Avenue at Tuller Street

•    Rear of 2150 North Fourth Street

•    West Patterson Avenue, next to Tuttle Park swimming pool

•    Williams Street between West Maynard Avenue & West Patterson Avenue

•    Rear of 65 East 18th Avenue

•    Rear of 100 Chittenden

•    Rear of 32 West 9th Avenue

•    Rear of 28-38 East 14th Avenue

•    Side of 31 Chittenden Avenue next to Pearl Alley

•    Vacant Lot at North High & East 8th, accessed from the rear

 

If you cannot take your items to a drop-off site, go to 311.columbus.gov or call (614) 645-3111 and follow the instructions to schedule a free pick-up.
