Updated with new date: Meeting to discuss becoming a local historic district

Apologies for the additional notice, but the date for this meeting is actually September 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Please see the corrected update from neighborhood resident and University Area Commissioner Susan Keeny on an upcoming meeting on creating a local historic district which includes the NECKO neighborhood.

The meeting will continue the discussion about our 3 neighborhoods - NECKO, The Circles, Dennison Place - becoming one local historic district.  

The meeting will take place as follows: 

MEETING TO DISCUSS BECOMING A LOCAL HISTORIC DISTRICT

When:      Wednesday, September 30, 2015

Where:     King Avenue United Methodist Church
                 299 King Avenue (corner of King and Neil)
Time:        7 PM
 
Our special guest will be Randy Black, preservation office from the Columbus Historic Resources Commission.

Randy will be there to further our conversation and answer any questions and concerns we may have and the process involved in becoming a historic district.
Enter through the doors off the west parking lot.  The desk worker in the sanctuary area can direct you to the meeting room.  We look forward to seeing you all at this the 3rd in our preliminary conversations about becoming a local historic district.
